feather_ghyllQuieter today, it felt like we sold less of everything, including books (a thriller, some Penguin 60s for less than that and a non-fiction health and wellbeing paperback). I am now sure that I don't like Michael Buble's cover of Me and Mrs Jones: oh, it's smooth, but where's the passion of the original? Ergo, it's pointless.
I also have more of an idea of how long stock remains in the store - not forever. Around a month, it seemed, for clothes, which were rotated to another store/went to rag men. Longer for other stuff. We get a discount for volunteering, so I will definitely go through the books next week.
