It's a very likeable series, as you say, following the developing relationship and new ties as well as the new settings and mysteries to solve. I'm getting through it very slowly. I liked 'A Mourning Wedding', the one before, slightly more than this. Although I should say this book is set during a realistic British summer, there is something fun about reading books set in the opposite season to the one we're living through.
